My feelings

I'm officially broke..

Friday 3 August 2007

Peace & quiet

Finally come back to my aunt's. Feels at least like home. Life in London really is busy noisy crazy dizzy dirty dusty...

As an official Londoner like others, I need to get an Oyster Travel Card to travel around London to save some expenses on transport. It can be used on tubes and buses as many times as we want as long as there is enough cash in it. Top-up required like your prepaid phone. 25/7/07
Started job hunting at around Kings Cross area. I was so lucky to get Starbucks's new drink while walking on the street. Taste like some grape drink. Just taste so nice and cold under the warm weather in London.
After finishing it, Kevin & I met a fund raiser near to Kings Cross station. She is a pretty girl. Really pretty!! She came up to me to ask for some donations for the diabetes association. I didn't manage to ask for her name and take a photo of her though. She's Chinese & Vietnamese mixed, born in England, speaking British English. She got pretty blue eyes, not sure is it blue contact lenses or she got East European ancestors... She's just charming... but in the end I didn't donate any as I told her I'm un-employed. Luckily she's understanding. LOL~~
We went across Central London from east to west to Shepard's Bush to this Chinese buffet which Kevin claims that it's the best in London that he had tasted. I forgot the price but it's around £5-6. Sufficient food choices and price. Not bad. The best is that it has a Tepanyaki counter, we can choose anything we like from the counter and ask the chef to cook straight away.

This is my set of Tepanyaki!!!! Actually just the soy sauce which make it tasty. No other flavourings other than the special soy sauce and water. Not even salt. I chose Udon noodles, squid, Chinese leaf, chicken breast meat and artificial crab meat sticks. The chicken breast really tasted great!! juicy and tender, just nice!!
This meal really is worth the price I paid. Have to go back there some time later when got chance...

It's a Saturday and we can't do anything as all the offices are not open, so we decided to take a walk around Bethnal Green, the place where my friend Kevin stayed.
This is Kevin. We went to Victoria Park to see the short term amusement park which only stay over the weekend. In Malaysia, amusement parks are open at night, but in England, it's open at daytime... duh... and open till only 9p.m. where the sun is still hanging over the sky now at summer... all the light effects doesn't make sense at all...

Well, that's the most interesting happenings in London. Most of the time I'm just sitting in cyber cafe applying jobs, eat, travel here and there looking for jobs, watch movie, eat, and DotA!!! LOL~~~ Nothing to do so play a bit...

Oh!! one thing I forgot to mention... I finally get to watch Transformers... damn it... late premier in England... now I know why many people watch for few times in the cinema... It's really awesome!!! Love the cars and transforming effects!!

So I came back yesterday evening, another pretty girl I met on the train sitting opposite to me... She's not that kinda super model or princess type, but she's just charming when she smiles.. talking with her male friend who sits beside her, both young working adults. Touched her eye sight few times on train before she drop off at Billericay. hihihi....

This is the official graduate photos I just received this morning. Doesn't seem as bad as I thought though.
Gonna continue my job hunt in a while... good luck to me!!!
