Abunene?? Abubu?? E-bubu??

Er... what's that title mean and what's topic about? Well, go find in the dictionary if you want but you wont be able to know what's the meaning as the CREATOR of those words also don't know what is it mean.. According to the CREATOR, those words are just expressions which you can use it anytime you wanna use or express something.. or just something that you add in your sentence when talk.. It's pronounced as "Ah-Bu-Neh-Neh"

so.. who's the CREATOR of those words?? We call her (is a her) ABUNENE as she created that word. Then after that, we decide to fully utilise that word to describe her. For example, if she's lazy, we call her LAZYnene.. if she cry, then we call her CRYbunene.. Oh ya.. the ABUBU & E-BUBU (electronic bubu??) are the ones which she added later on. So, sometimes when feel lazy, we just call her Abubu.. hehe.. funny? so, who's she actualy? Her real name is Cathy Wong. Known her since the first day I came to Sunderland. We met in Tesco (through a friend whom I met that day as well, but sadly didn't see him for quite some time already) when she was shopping with Alison and Jeannie for food and groceries. Since then I start to get along with them. She's actual hometown is Sibu but her family moved to Kuching so she grew up there.

Abunene.. what to say about her?? RICE!!!! PASTA!!!! TUNA!!!! CRAB MEAT STICKS!!!! EGGS!!!! ONIONS!!!! but she don't really like onions, just for cooking she use hell lots... oh ya.. she likes Happy Hippo as well... but didn't eat for quite some time already as she claimed that the price is not cheap... That's the food she usually use to cook or eat. Have lunch at Lambton Worm Wetherspoon, a local bar at least once a week (claiming 5 bar for £1 Happy Hippo expensive). She really can't eat spicy food.. I can't imagine how can she say the food is spicy when I didn't feel any hot feeling in it... Talking about Rice.. urgh.. look at the photo I took of her eating rice.. the last picture is the expression of her when no more rice to eat.. hehe...

I never seen someone ADDICTED so seriously to rice before.. she told us that her mouth won't stop munching when saw rice... if you don't cover the rice cooker after taking out rice, she'll SCOLD you for not RESPECTING the rice... -.-" She can finish whole pot of rice as snack when watching movie by herself!!!!! only rice and without anything else... omg... seems like we really need to give her some therapy...

But other than that, she's just a cute usual girl who likes to go shopping with a lot of cute and funny expressions... and cry a lot and sometimes quite blur also as she can't get what we said and we're laughing like hell... or sometimes act cute.. urgh... And Alvin like to do this to her face... (third photo below) and it looks.. super funny... hahahahahaha......

Anyway, she's quite helpful as she can help do a lot when needed. she cook nice pasta sauce... hehe.. her own way with a lot of ingredients which you can't imagine.. She bakes the most cakes in our family with her £5 mixer which bought from Argos which always broken and keep claiming new one... She got nearly all the basic stuff for making cake.

she also lend us the shower in her block as our block's hot water is quite limited due to excessive usage (sometimes) for shower and doing dishes after the boiler stops at night. She doesn't like to bother others as well.. she rather give up than asking others to help her sometimes... Good or bad? you decide...

Actually there are still lots more to say about her.. just that I really don't know how to describe, and some of them are not suitable for public reading.. hehe.. explicit and restricted content..

Lastly, here is one of the photos which taken during her birthday... which I think is quite nice and cute...

And it's the end of this post... wishing her good luck in everything...

Thanks to Alvin by providing the folowing photo.

looks so........ classic..... hehe...

The Fray - How to Save a Life

The Fray? I never heard their name before.. until recently when I found out about them in Jade's Blog. She used it as background music which I feel it's a very nice song. Well, she changed to other song after a while. I thought I might share with you guys out there who likes music.

The Fray, members are Isaac (vocal and piano), Joe (guitar and vocal), Ben and David. 'How to Save a Life' is a meaningful song which touched many people's hearts as you search for comments in video hosts websites such as YouTube. They even made videos remembering their lost friend. Here is a description about the song which I get from the official website of The Fray.

The title track, "How To Save A Life," was inspired by Slade's experience as a mentor to a crack addicted teen. "I was a sheltered suburban kid when I met this guy. He was a recovering addict, coming out of a really tough teenage life. Thankfully, he was on his way out of that life, so he was able to really look back with some objectivity. The song is more of a memoir about his slow motion descent and all the relationships he lost along the way." Destined to be one of the band's greatest hits, Slade isn't worried about getting tired of performing the song: "It is the easiest one for me to sing every night. I constantly get emails from people who relate to it."

The song has resonated with fans in some truly moving ways, which is humbling to the author: "Some people actually formed a non-profit organization called Save A Life. They lost their son to a tragic car accident and apparently ‘How To Save A Life' was the last song he downloaded. Another girl lost her mother to suicide. She wrote me and said it helped her deal with her mom's death."

Here are the lyrics of the song. Music Videos are below the lyrics...

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through

Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence

Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed

He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life
How to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life

There are 2 versions of music videos as shown below. I think the second one is more meaningful than the first version. What do you think? Take a look..

Hope you enjoy the song and do leave any comments that you like.

Block 20 Top Floor

Remembered when I first came, I should had live in Block 8, with Jeannie, but due to some reasons, I live in Block 32. Then I met my 'family', then Alvin pursue me to move to Block 20 together, then Lily and Jacquelyn's confirmation lets me made decision overnight. There we have, we become Block 20 Top Floor Family.
From left, Alvin a.k.a. Alvina (mom), Lily (elder daughter), Jacquelyn (younger daughter) and me (father). Photo taken at December at Metro station when Alvin and Lily send me and Jac off to airport.

What to say about my family?

That is Alvin holding the ugly snowman in front of his room, made during second and maybe last snow in Sunderland this winter.

Same age as me, older than me for less than half month. Known him since 31/10/06. From Johor Bahru. Final year in E&E Engineering. Not available already (but not mine ah!!). He is quite caring, that's what I found out about him since knowing him.. had lots of life experience, knows a lot about a lot of things, from technologies to life to politics.. nearly everything though.. he even can play piano.. hmm.. that's what I found out recently.. oh, he's quite good in computer stuff. Now he's known as our computer doctor.. hehe.. Super tidy guy! His room is more tidy than mine for hundred times even I just finish tidying my room!

Younger 1 year than me. Known her since 6/10/06. From Sibu, my home town. First year in Pharmacy. Now not available already. When I first saw her, I was quite attracted to her, true! At that time she still lives at Millfield. One reason I move into Block 20 is because she move in as well.. hehe.. I'm honest! She's cute, and.. likes babies a lot.. got many baby photos in her room.. She needs a lot of encouragement as she's quite lack of confidence sometimes. Think too much. Sometimes quite emotional.. But she's improving a lot since I first know her. Glad about that. Without her means less fun.. as me and Alvin always makes fun of her.. and of course tickle.. haha.. she's immuned already now.. sad... hehe..

Lily with Jac at Lily's 21st Birthday

Younger than Lily a bit. Known her since 31/10/06 also. From Bintulu but hometown is Kuching. First Year Pharmacy as well. Unfortunately, also not available already. (sigh~~ left me single) She can be quiet, she can be super noisy, she can be crazy, she can be serious... well, her room.. loads of stuff.. remembering when we help her to move her stuff from previous accomodation.. urgh... 1 shopping basket of shampoo I carried! nearly all bottles used only few drops.. fuh.. and poor Martin carries her cartons of books till 'faint'.. haha.. she likes perfume, she likes to see leng zai, looks good in photos, trendy, loves shopping, emotional when talk to family.. Alvin more close to her as he always bring her out in past few months..

Well, that's what's in my mind about them at the moment. Me and Alvin will be leaving them after June. What's gonna be like...? hmmm.. Still remembered when me and Jac went to London, Lily sobbed when sending us off... for only few days we went... I hope nobody will feel too sad when we graduate..

After whole evening clicking and exploring some information for my dissertation on I ended up reading his old posts. He's a real hilarious and funny guy. Take a look at his blog if you have time. The way he describe something, and the way he put photos and describing it let me enjoyed reading it.

One part of his blog that I enjoyed just now, thought that I might share with you people. Some of you might already seen it but some of you might not. The post is in the 'ENGRISH' section. (Click Here) It's really sad seeing something like that but yet it's really funny.. I laughed non-stop for a while after looking at the final few menus there. It's quite pathethic and yet they are going to host Olympics games next year! Wonder how the english speaking athletes are going to stay there without laughing to death if this situation continues like that. Most ENGRISH situation happens in Asian country.. You can find interesting ENGRISH stuff here. This site even offers you ways to make your own ENGRISH!!

Well, maybe I can start planning to stop studying accounting and start studying english.. Gonna make big money out of it!

So.. the turnip needs to fuck the bulb of lily (a type of flower, no offence to those who named Lily) to fry it...
