Trip to Southend-on-Sea

Last night I was busy designing banner for this blog until very late so I didn't manage to update this post. Sorry for that. The banner will be on later tonight if I successfully finish it today.

Southend-on-Sea, or in short Southend, is the seacoast on south of England. Around 20miles from London if not mistaken, so many Londoners went there for weekend holiday. Many amusement centres along the seaside, restaurants, casinos, bed 'n' breakfast, and very expensive houses. Very expensive cars are seen on nearly every houses, many youngsters go round in their so called 'modified' cars with loud sound system, which I feel is very lousy, even compare to Sibu youngsters. Oh, one more thing, many bikers as well, all sports bike, which is the phenomena which you seldom see in Sibu as sports bikes are very expensive there.

Didn't manage to take photos of the expensive houses, bikes and 'modified' cars though.

Something interesting which I saw along the sea coast....

Beach Huts!

Driving along the coast, you can see whole row of beach huts continuously, which my aunt said, very British. They buy and sell it like usual property, alarm installed, and used only on summer usually. They'll stay in the hut when they go holiday there, yachting or any other water activities. From the numbers written on each huts, around 300 to 400 huts are along the coast, continuously scary...

Wind is very strong yesterday evening that I can't breath like usual and at that time, around 7.30p.m. is on ebb-tide. All the boats and yachts nearer to the beach are on the sand....
Another thing interesting on Southend, the world longest pier, which can be found in Guinness Book of Records. It burnt for few times don't know why... Too bad that I can't stitch the photos together...

We stopped at the car park, then auntie bought fish 'n' chips for dinner so she doesn't have to cook when going home. LOL~~ It cost £4.90, auntie bought me one, then share another one with granny. Not bad. This meal let me felt full for whole night without getting hungry even though I slept a bit later last night.
Reaching home at around 9.15p.m. At least a great 'night-out' yesterday evening.

Southend, a place where wealthy people live.
