Backpacking down south

In 3 and half hours time, I'll be leaving Sunderland with 6 more people, Cathy, Alvin, Chloe, Adrian, Liwan and Jeannie. We'll be flying down south to Bristol by EasyJet flight number EZY565 at 7a.m.

From Bristol we'll go east all the way till end of journey. That'll be Bristol - Bath - Oxford - London - Cambridge. We'll be using train most of the time of our journey. Weather forecast shows that there'll be slight showers during our days in London. Overall we'll be experiencing quite a bit of showers for our trip. So please pray for us that the weather will be fine, and everyone will have good health and also temper, transport, flight, etc. Thanks peeps.

I'll try to update if I got internet connections.

Till then. Chao.

Pirates of the Carribean - At World's End

I haven't watch the previous 2 Pirates of the Carribean. Watched all 3 in 2 days time... Rushed to watch the previous 2 as I need to know the story about it continue to the third one, which I just watched at Empire Cinema.

My opinion is that this time the storyline is quite interesting as well, but for some reasons, I think the first one is the best to watch. Jack Sparrow is still funny as usual, and there are 2 new captains in the story.

Others, watch it yourself if you haven't watch. Enjoy the movie then.

Close - Far

Feeling so close, yet so far.
Close I can hold, far I can't reach.
Close I can whisper, far I need to shout.
She is so close, yet so far.

I promise myself...

I have to be confident and try my best to get what I want now.

I mustn't be affected by words that came out from others.

It's gonna be tough but I will try to reach it.

Keep holding on is what I can do.

I have to trust myself.

Good luck to me.

End.

Trip to Workington

So I had mentioned in the earlier post that I'll be going to Workington today. Here are the updates with some photos of it. Had a fun day with the 2 girls all the way till coming back.

Since this morning, we missed the Metro which we actually planned to hop on, that's the first miss which made us run like Speedy-Gonzales when reaching Newcastle Central Station as we might not get on the train to Carlisle on time. Alison nearly hop on the wrong train when we get there. What the heck, if it wasn't me going with them, the 2 girls will have to wait for 1 more hour as that train is going to Carlisle as well but leaving an hour late!! The platform seems so far away at that moment... 9.24a.m. the train left Newcastle and arrive Carlisle at around 10.45a.m.
As we have to wait for an hour there, we decide to go out the station to take a look around the area and we ended up eating at one of the Weatherspoon outlet. Me and Cathy had breakfast while Alison only eat Cathy's mushroom as she's on diet.
After eating we went back to the station then board on the train, we are off at 11.44a.m., to Maryport, where Alison might be staying during her summer placement at Workington. It's a real small and peaceful area with few people and cars running around. People around that area are quite friendly as well (at least we met friendly people). Her room is nice and the bathroom and kitchen were all nice.

So the picture above is Maryport train station, looks deserted but peaceful. At 1.18p.m. we left for Workington, to where Alison will be on placement.
The first thing I felt when I came out from the station is, the station looks so old.. and it is another quiet town. We walk straight down town after taking this photo. There's Oxford Street in Workington as well!! All the high street shops are there. While Alison was in Boots, where her placement will take place, me and Cathy went out for a walk around the shopping area again. The area looks newer, more tidy, cleaner and nicer than Sunderland. We found this clock which is the interesting part at that area.
Click to enlarge the picture as I had written the descriptions there. The numbers of the clock is on the ground and the arm will move up and down. Other than that, some of the shops there are not to be found in Sunderland, and some even cannot be found in Newcastle but only down south like London, Chelmsford, etc. We went to Thorntons to buy ice-cream again when Cathy say she wanted one.. haha.. So I bought her an ice-cream and she ate like a kid... :P
After looking around with Alison looking if there are any other places to live, we walked back to the station and went back to Carlisle. All of us were tired, Alison especially. Arriving Carlisle, Alison was complaining that she's cold, as she didn't bring her jacket along (we told her to do so), and tired, she went inside the waiting room to wait for our train back to Newcastle while Cathy decided again that we went out for a walk to look at the remaining places nearby the station where we haven't seen earlier on. It's quite a nice place to walk, and not noisy.
Took three times of this photo as I was planning to get the Australian Bar word which was on top of my head inside, but I failed.. sigh~~ This is the final attempt, which is the nicest one to show, so... it's here.. haha... The entrance is quite nice with the Australian island shape neon light on top of the entrance...

We came back to Newcastle by 6.18p.m. train. Again!! Rush for the Metro!!! Luckily we were able to get on time (runing like Speedy Gonzales again) or we'll have to wait half more hour to get the next one.

As a conclusion, Cumbria is a peaceful and quiet place and Cumbrians are quite friendly. Even though we're foreigners, quite a number of them smile at us. Not regret of following Alison and Cathy on this trip even though the visiting period is short.

Life update

It's been a day since I woke up this morning and it's nearly time for me to sleep again soon. What have I done today? Went to uni at noon, go get food, lunch, nap, out to train station to get tickets for tomorrow, cook dinner, eat, then here I am sitting here typing crap. Time really flies....

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be going to Workington with Cathy and Alison. Gonna take some photos there.

Updating again in around 24 hours. Watch out.

Back to Sunderland

In just a blink, I'm back here in Room 199 again. This morning I was still in Chelmsford, going to Wickford town to have a walk and buy my slippers.
After I went back at around noon, I fried some rice myself, accompany with some canned wanton soup, that's my lunch today. Then off I go to London Stansted Airport at around 2.30p.m. Arriving around 3.05p.m. so I just checked in straightly, then walk straight into the waiting lounge, took this photo in the toilet as I feel the words on the mirror are quite special. I'm not cam-whoring yea! Just taking photos of the words!
There's my plane coming at around 4.15p.m. Boarding at around 4.30p.m. but the flight delayed due to some congestion reasons, so the plane took off around 5p.m. rather than 4.40p.m.
Manage to get back in time to have my dinner with the rest of the guys. Saw her, she still look so charming though. Dinner is nice but I just feel too tired to say anything.

So, what have I done for the past whole week? I updated already in the previous few posts. See for yourself then. This following video is me on drums playing Dirty Little Secret which I promised that I'll post it here. The second half part of the video is a bit off sync, maybe due to the conversion of the videos when I edit it. Lazy to correct the timing so, just the original one. Just a sharing of my hobby, although it's not that great afterall. I know I look dead in the video, I know I look like a zombie in the video. Well, it's just me.

A Day Out

Yesterday I went out with my aunt to Chelmsford City in the morning. We arrived Chelmsford around 11a.m. The traffic was unusually bad there but we made it to the car park by avoiding bad traffic. Coming down from the car park, it is the Chelmsford Market, then we walk through the High Chelmer Shopping Centre. Shops here are different from shops up-north. No Greggs here though, and other shops are in big size, not like Sunderland, all in small sizes.

We then saw a performance by Essex Dance Theatre in front of HSBC Bank on city centre. I didn't manage to catch a video of the previous 2 dances, just some photos, then the final one I took it. So the following is the the photo of previous dance and the following is the final dance video which I took which I think it's quite nice. Enjoy.

How's it? Not bad eh. See any pretty girls inside?

After that we walked and saw a man with 5 huge dogs! It's so big and pretty... He must be bankrupt for keeping them healthy and strong...

Anyway, after that we just walked and went into another shopping complex named Meadows Shopping and get back to High Chelmer Shopping Centre.

We get Thorntons ice cream... mine is a Medium cone Blueberry sorbet with chocolate flavour ice-cream. The sorbet taste sour and the chocolate flavour taste creamy and nice. One more thing, I don't recommend them to be eaten together as its gonna taste strange by having something sour with chocolate...

We went back after that, but before that, we stop by at the Hanningfield Reservoir which is near to my aunt's place. It's a very nice place to go.

We see ducks, geese and ducklings as well!! so cute though... and an old man brought us to see 2 ducks which are still hatching their eggs, under the plants...

Isn't it cute...

Anyway, that's my day out yesterday. Played ball with my cousin after coming back though.

End of my post. More to come soon.

Bon Jovi - I'll Be There For You

Well, browsing through Imeem again early this morning. Looking for Bon Jovi's songs to be added to my playlist, then I found this song, I'll be there for you. It suddenly reminds me of my friend who just break up with his girlfriend who had been together with him for some time. I bet he's feeling something like what is in the song... Anyway, hope this is just your feelings for a while and hope you can recover fast and face the future yea..

Here are the lyrics...

I'll Be There For You

I guess this time you're really leaving
I heard your suitcase say goodbye
Well as my broken heart lies bleeding
You say true love is suicide
You say you've cried a thousand rivers
And now you're swimming for the shore
You left me drowning in my tears
And you won't save me anymore
I'm praying to God you'll give me one more chance girl

I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you
When you breathe, I wanna be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
I'd steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what love can do
I'll be there for you

I know you know we've had some good times
Now they have their own hiding place
Well I can promise you tomorrow
But I can't buy back yesterday
And baby you know my hands are dirty
But I wanted to be your Valentine
I'll be the water when you get thirsty baby
When you get drunk, I'll be the wine

I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you
When you breathe I wanna be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
I'd steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what love can do
I'll be there for you

I wasn't there when you were happy
And I wasn't there when you were down
Didn't mean to miss your birthday baby
I wish I'd seen you blow those candles out

I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you
When you breathe I wanna be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
I'd steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what love can do
I'll be there for ...

I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you
When you breathe I wanna be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
I'd steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what love can do
I'll be there for you ...

Quite touching lyrics right? Be strong yea. I'll be on MSN if you need to talk...

Trip to Southend-on-Sea

Last night I was busy designing banner for this blog until very late so I didn't manage to update this post. Sorry for that. The banner will be on later tonight if I successfully finish it today.

Southend-on-Sea, or in short Southend, is the seacoast on south of England. Around 20miles from London if not mistaken, so many Londoners went there for weekend holiday. Many amusement centres along the seaside, restaurants, casinos, bed 'n' breakfast, and very expensive houses. Very expensive cars are seen on nearly every houses, many youngsters go round in their so called 'modified' cars with loud sound system, which I feel is very lousy, even compare to Sibu youngsters. Oh, one more thing, many bikers as well, all sports bike, which is the phenomena which you seldom see in Sibu as sports bikes are very expensive there.

Didn't manage to take photos of the expensive houses, bikes and 'modified' cars though.

Something interesting which I saw along the sea coast....

Beach Huts!

Driving along the coast, you can see whole row of beach huts continuously, which my aunt said, very British. They buy and sell it like usual property, alarm installed, and used only on summer usually. They'll stay in the hut when they go holiday there, yachting or any other water activities. From the numbers written on each huts, around 300 to 400 huts are along the coast, continuously scary...

Wind is very strong yesterday evening that I can't breath like usual and at that time, around 7.30p.m. is on ebb-tide. All the boats and yachts nearer to the beach are on the sand....
Another thing interesting on Southend, the world longest pier, which can be found in Guinness Book of Records. It burnt for few times don't know why... Too bad that I can't stitch the photos together...

We stopped at the car park, then auntie bought fish 'n' chips for dinner so she doesn't have to cook when going home. LOL~~ It cost £4.90, auntie bought me one, then share another one with granny. Not bad. This meal let me felt full for whole night without getting hungry even though I slept a bit later last night.
Reaching home at around 9.15p.m. At least a great 'night-out' yesterday evening.

Southend, a place where wealthy people live.

It's a lovely day...

Well, it's only late morning now but I feel like updating blog... outside the house, under the umbrella which is under the bright huge sun, and breeze around... Yahoo! Weather states that the weather now is 17'c, but I feel like oven if staying under the sun... This is the view from where I sit now...
What a lovely morning.. had been raining for the past few days since I came here. Today is the first time I actually come and enjoy the environment outside the house. You see the red car at the left of the picture? I took tonnes of photos of it just now... Well, below are some other photos of the place I'm having holiday now.

Name: Foxley End.

It was named Foxley End as it is claimed that there are many foxes running around nearby.. but sadly I didn't see any of the foxes since I came here few times... It's basically a bungalow with a decent size lawn in front of the house.

It even has a green for golf practice.. and hot tub for pleasure and relax. Beside the tub is the apple tree which had been there for a long time. You see a box on the wall above the hot tub? It's a TV inside.. LOL~~

So this is the outer view of the house where I'm staying now. This is some kinda house which I'll be aiming for in future.

And now, still, enjoying the environment around me.... relax...

Backstab

So today I'm reflecting on this word, backstab. Why the hell am I thinking about it? It's complicated. You might tell me that don't care what others say and just be myself, but it matters me as well. why? I backstab others as well, unfortunately. Now I'm thinking of how much harm had i made to others. Maybe someone out there is doing the same thing to me for the mistakes I had done as well... I wonder had someone had hated me before for knowing from others that I said something bad about them. Sorry for that and I mean it as I don't feel nice too when the same thing happen to me.

Just a thought. No offense to anyone yea. It's a free place to say how I feel right?

五月天- 让我照顾你

I found a song in Imeem just now. It's by Mayday 五月天. I never know they got this song until now... reason is I never bother to listen to their whole album... LOL~~ The lyrics is quite meaningful and sweet... dedicate this song to her... how I wish I could say her name here.. you know who you are (maybe)... hehe..

Lyrics:

Enjoy the song....

TV, Internet, drums

It has been a day without stepping out the house again. Played drums since after breakfast for few hours.. glad that I felt some improvements... I might take a video if i done well on my practice.. after that ate lunch and chat on MSN... so everyone start asking about the girl whom I mentioned in my blog yesterday... nap in the afternoon, help cooking in the evening, watched TV after dinner for few hours, then now I'm here... by the way, tonight I had Sole, asparagus, stir fry bean sprouts, sweet potato and as usual a glass of diet lemonade for dinner.

Done nothing again on my main project which I planned to do before I came.. sigh~~ anyway I just downloaded Sony Vegas and I might quite using Pinnacle to do my project as it doesn't have some functions which I needed, and I didn't used it before. Hope the software I downloaded just now can be used successfully then I can start doing after this.

Enjoyed my life here for the past few days but somehow sometimes I missed the food which I can never taste it here, eg. tomato chicken... and porridge.. hmmm... what else to be missed for the next few days...

So, curious about who's the girl I was talking about? You wanna know who is it badly? I'm gonna tell you now.... she is......................

name: it's a she...

Second day in Chelmsford

Well it's another day past. woke up at 8 in the morning and my day started by wishing Cathy good luck in her exam. then 2 pieces of toast with apricot jam and a cup of tea. Weather seems ok in the morning but after a while the rain clouds comes in then it started raining until evening... can't even go out to enjoy the fresh air outside... so I stayed indoor for whole day, playing drums and try my uncle's Harman Kardon 2.1 speakers... great treble from the tweeter, sound doesn't crack at high volume. Fried spaghetti for granny and myself for lunch. Watched TV with granny after that, then thinking of nap but ending up reading stories in forum. Then it's dinner already; 4 pieces of turkey breasts, stir fry bean sprouts, 2 big baked mushrooms, and as usual, diet lemonade. nothing fat in the food, just not enough fiber. LOL~~

Speaking about drums, I realised that I really lose my skills though. Can't catch up anymore on speed and accuracy, and all the skills that I had learn before.. sad. have to practice everyday whenever I got chance now. Hope I can at least finish play a song successfully before I go back to Sunderland.

And one more thing. I missed a girl out there... sigh~~ since when I started missing her... Gee~~ So I announce here that I missed a girl. Nic was asking, Alvin was asking, so who is that girl?

Well, it will still be remain a mystery until I feel like telling.

There goes my day. now 10pm. with football on Sky Sports, and uncle & aunty planning for holiday again. sigh~~ so nice can go for holiday again. It's gonna be my life someday in the future... good luck to myself... hahaha...

end of post.

Getaway.....

So yesterday I was talking about a getaway... So here I am sitting at another place rather than my room updating my blog.. on the soft milky white comfortable leather couch...

Waked up quite early this morning and get my things done... To library to return books, pay the sum owed to university, then to town with Nic... after coming back... an hour later at 11.55a.m. I'm on my journey to leave Sunderland... 3p.m., my flight EZ516 Newcastle - London Stansted... here I come...
1 hour later I reached Stansted. Weather is fine, just that the sky still looks a bit dark due to the rain clouds hanging there... Gee... I'm free from the exam aura...
This is the outer view of London Stansted airport, taken while waiting for my aunt to fetch me.. it looks quite deserted, but inside the building, it's so crowded that you can't even walk straight.. So around 15 minutes of waiting, I was picked up then straight to my cousin's school to pick him up... arriving Foxley End at around 5.45p.m.
then I had 2 jacket potato, 1 big piece of trout fillet, and 3 small pieces of chicken breast meat, adding a glass of diet lemonade for dinner a around 7p.m. After dinner, the best part of the day.... going out on a ride!!!!

Uncle & aunty went shopping at Makro, which is a very huge warehouse... everything inside is in big amount, big size... mostly for commercial usage though... you can get whatever you want as you name it... from electronics to seafood to groceries, food, fruits & vege etc... Need to apply for member to go in...

but that's not the most interesting part of the day..... the interesting part is the way I go there... the way which I had dream of for the past few months... to take a ride in my Uncle's new Audi TT 2007!!!!! Finally I got the chance to sit in it....

Look at that gorgeous firey red TT!!! and the number plate is my Aunty's name in front, Anne, and Tay is the surname... It's a 2.0L turbo, 6 speed semi-automatic gearbox which you can change from automatic to paddle shift anytime... good sound system that you don't need to upgrade it... even near max of the volume you won't feel any noisy sound of the speakers... and it has bucket seats in front.. which holds driver and passenger tight in the seat for spirit driving. the rear is extremely small, even my aunt in a size like that couldn't climb in properly and sit properly... If I sit at the back, i have to lay on the rear seats! as there is no leg and head room at all.. sigh~~ typical sports car. so below is one of the videos I caught with my mobile phone, and I really regretted that I didn't bring my proper camera along... :( poor quality video....

as you can hear from the video, the engine roars.. we're doing around 100mph on a small village road before the video was taken... it's simply a pocket rocket. but after a while, due to the speed limit of 40mph, Uncle Keith slows down, we had another speeding after that.. COOL!!!!!

Audi TT, good car as I can say... marvelous if you look for performance, space? there's no space at all... LOL~~~

That makes my day... gonna be here for another 6 days before I get back to Sunderland.

Exam

What? Exam again? after finishing my exams? nope... not mine.. my mates' exams.. Other than Nic and I, others still haven't finish their exam. Even food (Bakuteh) which taste so nice tonight they can't even enjoy... all faces look so serious... all the words coming out from their mouth are exam stuff... Really understand their feelings... Poor them still need to hold on for one more week... sigh~~ but they are fortunate that they still got people to share their module problems.. I don't even have ppl to share at home..

ARH!!! Looking at their expressions... I can't enjoy my Bakuteh properly also... Seems like I'll have to face their serious expression for one more week... As I state in my profile above, I got easily affected mood by environment...

In order not to be affected... I planned a getaway.... Vanish myself for some time!!

Spiderman 3

Just watched Spiderman 3 at Empire Cinema tonight. First time going there. Felt the sound system and the screen of it. Nice. Will go there again. The trailers are just so so many... telling us that this summer will be full of movies showing... my goodness...

Well, I like the black Spiderman even though it's the bad site of it... the outfit looks very nice...

The story between Peter Parker and Mary Jane is touching...

Recommended to watch it. More info of Spiderman here...

Finish exam

Finally finish my exam... It maybe is my final exam in my life... not sure. What to feel? Relief but empty suddenly... and of course... tired... mentally tired.

Well, tonight I don't have much activity though. Just finish dinner, chat with a friend for around an hour, then to Nic's... then out to buy some food to eat... to celebrate the end of my exam? hehe... then now...

Got plans already for the next few weeks... but next week i'm gonna miss someone though.. sigh~~

Sleep now. After wake up I still have to do my laundry, go town, food shopping, after coming back I've to settle some stuff, then after dinner... SPIDERMAN3!!!!!! wohoho!!!

end.

Perodua Viva

Well, thinking of getting a affordable yet stylish car in Malaysia? Consider the Perodua Viva which was just launched today. Viva is considered a replacement for the previous Kelisa as Perodua still keep the lower end Kancil on production. Viva has engines varied from 660cc to 850cc to 1000cc which all comes with DVVT Variable Valve Timing technology. Price range is from RM28k to RM44k which the basic 660cc model is RM6k more expensive than the basic 660cc Kancil. Viva looks like a mini Myvi or Mini Toyota Avanza as Viva is from base model of Daihatsu Mira which Daihatsu is a subsidiary of Toyota. The interior has the typical look of a Toyota's design, and the usual new Perodua steering design.

For more information, pictures and promotional video and official commercial video of Perodua Viva, please visit Paultan.org and the official Perodua Viva site.

My day....

Well, another crap update today... just feel like writing something so just log into my blog to scribble something...

Today is my second paper exam, business policy and strategy which takes place at Seaburn Centre which is located at Seaburn beach. It's so damn cold inside the hall though. Shiver for 3 hours in the exam hall, dunno I was feeling cold or nervous or both... at the end of the exam i took this photo... cos i scare get caught by using handphone in the exam hall...
On the chair which written G10 in front of my table is Nic.. when I took this photo, we're waiting to be given instructions to leave the hall... took us around 20 minutes sitting there do nothing.. don't really know what's the reason for keeping us for so long after they collected all the papers... around nearly 400 people took this paper so the hall is nearly full. After finish exam, we went to Morrisons to have lunch.. didn't took photo of that though. I had Beef Stew and Dumpling with chips and garden peas, and a regular Coke. Cost me £4.84 for that meal. Taste nice though, just the dumpling is something like cake throw inside the beef stew.. hehe...

Going to town after that, then come back nap then time for dinner already. time sure flies... Today's dinner.. sigh.. due to limits of food available, I only ate 1 small plate of rice, 1 piece of vege, 1 drumstick from the soup, and eaten no eggs at all as I don't really like to eat onions in the eggs. Went to see Justin after that... taking the Metro at 7.43pm.. the sun is still so bright.. don't feel 7.43pm at all..
so this is Justin... he helped me a lot in my studies...
He's fun actually... I was there with him in the library to get answers of Thursday's corporate governance exam revision questions.. chatted with him while getting answer for around 2 hours. Halfway through the process, at around 10pm, my stomach start growling... sigh~~ due to lack of food during dinner. Came back at around 11.45pm then had supper...

That's my day today...

~~~~~end of story~~~~~
