To Roker Beach

Today is Easter Sunday. Me Jeannie, Felicia and Deborah went to church in the morning. After church, we decided to walk back from Bede College to The Precinct. On the way back, we decided to go to the beach as today is very sunny.

After having our lunch, Me, Jeannie, Felicia, Deborah, Alison, Alvin, Cathy, Jac, Nic and Adrian start our walk to the beach.
From the image above (right click to open in new window/tab to view bigger picture), the red line is the path we walked this afternoon, and the green line is our plan to continue walk to Seaburn beach but cancelled due to time constraints and tiredness among us.. On the way to Roker Beach, we went to River Wear side to visit and snap few photos as well as bringing them to see St. Peters campus where me and Nic study.
After that we went to the National Glass Centre beside St. Peters Campus to pay a visit. I had never been into the building as well until today. The glass art work displayed in it is spectacular.. and some of them are expensive as well, if you wanna buy it... Before we went in, we take a walk on top of the NGC building roof. Some parts of them are made of glass so we can look through the glass into the building from top. Jeannie and Felicia took photo by sitting on the glass roof...

After visiting, we are now officially on the way to Roker Beach.. as we walk, we can see lots of Convertibles on the road.. so cool.. get one someday.. haha.. and people riding motorcycles as well.. Walking down the road we saw a marina!!! Sunderland got a marina!! It's nice though.
After that we finally arrived Roker Beach. Many people were coming out bringing their families, dogs, cars to the beach...
So that's Roker Beach. There's a lighthouse at the end of the left 'wing'.. Don't know how is that barrier actually call.. hehe... so we walk towards the lighthouse.. and it's a long way out. The wind blow so strong that we felt so tired when walking towards it.


Many people fishing there as well... but I didn't take photos of them fishing though.. but I manage to snap on this... What is Cathy Wong doing again?????? sigh~~~
After coming back from the lighthouse, we get some food there and eat, then visit amusement centre next to the food stall then we go back.

Haircut

Today we had our haircut! who? me, Alvin, Vincent, and Adrian.. oh ya.. and Lily as well as she cuts her own hair.. forgotten.. Jeannie, our barber as well... she cut her own hair as well.. So Jean cut Alvin's hair before Lily cut mine. Didn't remember to catch some photos though. Only catch the photos of hair which were on the floor... poor hair...
oh ya... and our barber, Jeannie.. but not my main barber though... she only helps to repair my hair a bit after Lily cuts it. It was a painful process. As you can see from the photo.. the way she holds the tools... and that grin... my goodness... i yelled continuously when she cuts my hair... duh...

Happy Birthday Jac!!!!!

Just finish surprising Jac!!! What a success of fooling her that we forgot and don't wanna celebrate her birthday anymore... Since 5/4 she was asking us about celebrating her birthday already. Her actual birthday is on the 6th, but she lied to us that it's on 7th.. so that's her problem.. kekeke... but we still act like don't care about it.

Just now, last night, we continuously played Starcraft as usual. We really did a great job by covering up that we'll surprise her. thanks to Vincent and Adrian for staying in her room to keep an eye on her, thanks to Martin for baking the cake although he feels so tired, thanks to Cathy for making the 21 on top of the cake.
Well, we really surprised her!! hehe... we sealed up her door so she have to break through the newspaper barrier... we even put 2 bananas on the newspaper barrier, asking her to finish it before breaking through.



After breaking out, she has to finish another 19 bananas as she's 21 years old! you can see the bananas in her hand.. hahahaha.... so she just continue eating.. someone who like to eat banana as well start to snatch her bananas to eat... who is it??????

Well... Cathy Wong... squating on floor eating banana... like a monkey?? anyway... there are others who also help her eat as well.... so...

The result is that Jac is very touched on what we did for her... she told her parents that her friends are bad that we all didn't celebrate for her... poor Jac.. have to be sad for days before we celebrate for her.... See her expression...
She's so touched that she sobbed... and eat banana... monkey??

Second Trip to Metro Centre

It's my second time to Metro Centre within this few days. Today's trip is different from Sunday as there are more people and different people going. Me, Alvin, Vincent, Cathy and Maple. Adrian told us he'll go today, but this morning when calling him, he answer the call in his bed telling us he can't get up so not going. =.=" what the... Heard Maple said Chloe can't wake up as well... sigh~~

Anyway, the sun is so bright and weather is very warm today. We were all having fun there for around 4 hours in the shopping complex. Cathy got what she wanted to buy, a pair of shoes, a skirt and a shirt. Maple bought same shoes with Cathy and she's satisfied with that.

So, today we paired up yea... Alvin pak-to with Cathy while me with Maple.. duh... It's so funny that we keep on saying something about Cathy's ---(((censored)))--- hehe... don't wanna tell what is it. So we had our lunch at KFC which we don't have anymore chance to eat in Sunderland as Sunderland's KFC branch turn out to be like this.
This empty shop lot used to be KFC.. it closed maybe because of the food is lousy and no service on counter... anyway, back to story. So we had our lunch at KFC in Metro Centre.
Poor Alvin's head got covered by Vincent. hehe.. so... after a round of hard work... the result came out to be like this......
After that we went shopping again, with stomach super full... at around 4p.m. we left Metro Centre and head towards China Town to get some food for dinner and some other food for everyday consume, eg. instant noodles!

We arrived home at around 6p.m. Sun is still bright so we decide to go to Mowbray Gardens after dinner at around 7p.m. but when we get there, it's closed.. sigh~~ but we manage to grab some photos in town area.

So that's my life today... tiring but fun... lots of fun which I didn't mention as well... and some photos which are taboo to show here... or I'll be in trouble.. hehe...

Holiday

Holiday officially started last Saturday when on trip to Liverpool. I didn't stop playing since then. After coming back from Liverpool, the next day I straightly go to Metro Centre with Jeannie, Deborah and Felicia. So weird when think of it.. why bother to go with 3 girls shopping around? Just feel bored that day so decide last minute to join them.

That's the train to Metro Centre from Newcastle Central Station. It took us around 7 to 8 minutes to get there costing £2.10 return. The train is quite lousy and old, the cushions on the seats in the train are bad that you feel the plank below. Seats are dirty as well. All along the track, you can feel the rail track not flat at all. Luckily taking us 7 to 8 minutes only to arrive.

It's my second time to Metro Centre, so it's not new for me anymore. Just bringing the 3 girls around and they go shopping. We ate at Burger King and I get a Double Whopper which is quite big so I feel so full after eating it.

The photo is taken from first floor of the building. The building has 4 wings, which divided to 5 malls. Blue Mall, Yellow Mall, Green Mall, Red Mall and Center Mall. After around 4 hours there, all the shops start to close so we were forced to leave.. 5pm. we went back to Newcastle to catch Metro back to Sunderland.

That's the first Sunday of my holiday. Monday I only went to town with Alvin to stock some food for our fridge that's all. At night I just stayed at Maple's room watching movie with her and chat till quite late. Tuesday, yesterday, is quite interesting though. Jeannie, Felicia and Nic went to Amsterdam already, so just left 9 of us here. 6 of us were having fun all day... Me, Alvin, Martin, Vincent, Adrian, Jac.

Me and Alvin woke up and had breakfast with Adrian at around 11 in the morning. While waiting for Martin and Vincent, we stopped Jac who was just coming back from town from going back to her room. haha... forcing her to go town with us again. So, we went to town get a lot of food for dinner... After come back, we 6 ppl eat again.. after that, play games in the kitchen dining table. 6 laptops! haha.. around 5.30pm Deborah came down to cook and she was quite shocked of all the laptops on dining table as she said it's like a cyber cafe. haha... we watch final episode of season 2 of Prison Break after finish play. Then watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie after that. Dinner halfway of the movie. Had pleasant dinner, feel different atmosphere as Nic and Jean wasn't here... then continue watch after that, then shower, then update blog till now.

That's the first few days of my holiday. hehe... and later in the morning I'll be joining Alvin, Cathy, Maple, Chloe and also Vincent, Martin and Adrian as well to go to Metro Centre AGAIN.

Cathy coming over soon.. so.. end my post here. After tomorrow I really have to get back to my work.. shit loads of work haven't done yet.

It's been more than a week I didn't update the song in my blog. Reason is that I was rushing my assignments before Saturday last week, then after that, holiday started and there are some activities on, so I didn't have mood to update.

So, here is this week's song, I don't Love You by My Chemical Romance. I was obsessed with MCR's songs this few months. Had been listening to their new album The Black Parade so often. Even their old album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge I listened to... Before that I thought MCR's songs are all noisy and bad, don't like their style as well as you can see from the picture.. hehe.. but I found their songs are quite nice, don't know if it's the change of me in song choices...

In this album The Black Parade, there are 2 slow songs, not so noisy songs, which one of them is I don't Love You, and another one is Cancer. Cancer is a nice song as well, which is dedicated to cancer patients. It's quite meaningful as well, but this week I'm gonna introduce I don't Love You. Cancer? maybe next week I'll use. Trip to Liverpool

Students' Union organized the trip to Liverpool, costing me £17 as I'm not a Gold Member (Member £15). At 6.45a.m., we all arrive Wearmouth Hall to board on Jim Hughes coach, then at 7.05a.m., the coach leaves...

On the way, some of us can't sleep very well thanks to the loudness of the speakers on for DVD.. a movie name Calcium Kid. DUH.... It's very bad.. boring.. even I only listen occasionally to the dialog and not watching. After that movie finish, another movie is up and I don't even remember the name already.. It's also a British movie.. and it also sucks like the first one... Only making lots of noise through the speakers above each and everyone of us...

With 20 minutes break half way, our journey took us nearly 4 hours. Arriving Liverpool at nearly 11a.m. at Albert Dock. Stopping at a place we didn't expected, we change our plan a bit. 18 people walking around the streets... hehe... Saw the Yellow Duckmarine when we just drop off the coach... the Duckmarine can go straightly into the water becoming a boat. Amphibious vehicle... but I forgotten to take picture of it cruising on water.. sigh~~

We went to Beatles Story at the first stop then continue walking down Albert Dock.
Walking down Albert Dock, the scenery is nice and the weather is nice... thank God for that. We then walk pass Maritime Museum then go into city....

Our next destination is China Town... but don't know why the whole China Town's shops are closed, only left one open. Might be because of the football match between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield stadium? and the one open is not a Liverpool supporter?? China Town in Liverpool seems quite sad... some shop lots are left there for so long that nobody cares... only someone like Jac would like to take photo with it...


We then had lunch at a buffet outside China Town.. costing us only £5.40 and it taste better than Panda Oriental Buffet in Sunderland, and cheaper as well... Sitting there for an hour, bursting our stomach, we then continue walk to the Anglican Cathedral. It's a magnificent piece of architecture and the view at the park down beside it is nice as well, with tombs around.. hehe...



The next stop is Metropolitan church which is new and modern. I like the lightings in the building.


After that we went to the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Center, but due to time constraints, we have to give up on the tour which we have to wait for 20 minutes and 40 minutes of visiting. After that we went to the St. George's Hall and took some photos of it... Not sure of what is it about... then art gallery... then we walk back to Albert Dock....



After that, it's 5p.m. and its our journey back to Sunderland....


Stupid Adrian ask Alvin to take photo of me sleeping... then Alvin is so stupid to listen to his orders to do so.. then.. that's the result of 2 stupid people's work.. my gorgeous sleeping photo... Anyway, thanks to Adrian who send me this photo before I finish writing this post.

FINISH!!!!

FINISH!!! finally FINISH!!!! My goodness... I finally finish Okike's assignment... It's been days since I rush for it last minute due to difficulties of looking for references.. I had no choice but to use other ways to write my assignment.. I hope I can get better marks than I thought of.

Handing the assignment in 7 and half hours time from now... After handing in... the spring holiday officially start!! But there's no spring holiday for us.. sigh~~ have to start another assignment and finish dissertation.. which is hard work... and the worse part is that we all have to prepare for EXAMS!!!! My exams will be on from 3rd May to the 11th. 4 modules.

My eyes are closing.. urghh... didn't nap in the afternoon.. sitting in front of my laptop doing my work whole day... and now...

Mr Bean's Holiday

Walking down town this few days I saw posters on bus stops about Mr Bean's Holiday. so, he's back with a new movie which all Mr Bean fans waited for long... After such a while.. i really miss his movies though.. Hoping that it will be greater than ever... well.. he's gonna be stupid as usual.. haha.. Muse - Knights of Cydonia

Browsing in Imeem again to listen to some songs as Martin, Adrian and Vincent was in my room just now. Looking for Muse's music videos as I just known them recently because of Jade's blog's song. Knights of Cydonia is quite a long song, 6 minutes 7 seconds but the intro music is very good. I really like it. When I saw the video just now, it's even better! Amusing as well! hehe...

Power Rangers

Being moody for whole day.. just now I searched through Imeem for songs to listen, searching the ones which suits my mood to post here, but power ranger theme song appeared! It really do cheered me up a bit.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the first generation of Power Rangers by Haim Saban and Shuki Levi. It is the best of all Power Rangers, even until now. Bringing back a lot of childhood memories.. I was around 7 years old by that time. Its a long way back. I remembered that I draw the logo in art period when in school. The teacher even stick my picture on the wall, which I'm so proud of it. Below is the opening of first season.. how much can you remember?


Well, that's the opening video. Everyone is so familiar about the song which it still bring smile to teenagers faces.. bringing back their memories, like me.
This is the earliest 5 members of Power Rangers, after some time, Green Ranger appeared on screen with its Dragon Zord. I still love first generation Mega Zord, still the best of my choice of all generations of Power Rangers. It's built up by 5 zords, made up of some dinosaurs and some ice age animals.

Daylight saving is over.. adding an hour later after midnight, that means, we got only 23 hours tomorrow. lose 1 hour.

In Library

This picture shows a corner of the St. Peters library which I use for the rest of my course this year. I'm now here doing my assignments. Had been quite moody since past 2 days, and this morning that stupid mood turn worse.. sigh~~ That's why I came to library this morning to focus more on my assignments, and to let myself not to think so much which can waste my time sitting there doing nothing. Staying in my room will make it worse and I won't be able to finish my assignments in time as my room usually seems moody. Weather outside is moody again today, sunlight covered up by thick dark clouds again. Switching off my phone and not online on MSN let me feel a bit peace without the signing-in notification keeping on popping up, and nobody looking for me asking me what happen and where am I, hate it when no mood to entertain anyone. Until now I had done a part of my assignments again. My target is to finish this assignment before I go back, after all the library is a 24/7 access. Nobody knows where I am now as I didn't tell anyone where I been since this morning after I went to do my laundry.

It's still quite silent here... making a good atmosphere of concentrating on my work..........
