Worst Bank Experience Ever!

Yeah right.... We'll help you get there... in "no time"...

From KitKat's blog, I saw his complaints about this bank. Last weekend, I heard complaints about their car loan services from a friend... today it's my turn to complain... DAMN!!

Well, I got myself a job, and the company requires me to open a bank account at that bloody bank. Well, I'll try to explain.

From my office to the nearest branch, journey is around 20 minutes by using 2 wheels, due to traffic, cars will consume more time to reach the destination. My lunch break is 1 hour 30 minutes. That seems really long as some offices only have 1 hour lunch break.

So I took my motorbike and went to the petrol station for refill, adding traffic and such, with exhaustion due to concentrating on the road, and going to another bank to get my deposit to open the new account, I reached my destination at around 12.30pm. I walked into the bank, the security old man gave me a number to queue up, but due to that there's not many people I felt quite lucky. Until I saw the wall which states that opening bank account doesn't need any numbers and just queue up at counter 1 and 2, well, including Fixed Deposit services. I was thinking, well, I;ll have a try, but the lady at other counter said I need to go there to queue... O___O" I saw 2 person queuing up and 1 lady standing at the counter quite long already. I rushed towards the queue... but it was too late... another lady suddenly appear in front of me... so there's 3 person in front of me... and 2 counters, there's only 1 open. That doesn't really piss me off until I knew that they need the MYKad reader to open the bloody account!! and there's only 1 at counter 1!!! What for setting up 2 counters with 1 person working and only 1 card reader!!! It took ages for the people in front of me to settle their stuff... I waited for 40 minutes for my turn... and took like nearly 10 minutes to finish everything. The time is 1.20pm and there's only 10 minutes left. There goes my lunch break... but I didn't care and went for lunch before "flying" my motorbike through heavy traffic at around nearly 1.30pm. I reached there 10 minutes later.... half the time I use to reach the bank cutting everything else out.

For me... I was more lucky than KitKat as he doesn't get his card on the day while I got mine on spot! but damn... totally poor service... Banks should set up sufficient counters for customers to open account!! It's their bloody business and they should be happy that there are people coming to open up account in their bloody bank!! Instead they only have 2 counters and using some extra process time due to slow card readers and lack of card readers.

RHB Bank sucks!! Rotten Hole Bank...

Up Up & Away!!!!

Yesterday afternoon around 4.30pm (Malaysian Time: 11.30pm), I open Paul Tan's Automotive Blog while having my lunch/dinner/afternoon tea. I nearly puked all over my laptop when I saw the most recent post --> New Petrol & Diesel Prices Effective 5th June 2008 The new Malaysian fuel price is rising like crazy in just 1 day! 70cents rise for petrol and RM1 for diesel overnight!!! I can't believe my own eyes!!! The first thing in my mind is my house's car and my dad.... After calculation, it will be around RM100 increase every month for my house's car's fuel. I can't believe it... The government is going to give out cash by using postal orders when car owners renew road tax and insurance, but the subsidy amount is not even half of the amount increase!! And it will be taking ages to process. Now I bet many Kancil drivers have to go back to motorcycles again as it is not possible for low income people to have a car anymore, even a used one.

As a chain reaction, prices of everything else will be increasing like mad from groceries to food to anything related, or even non related to fuel. The only thing that will NOT increase will be the salary. Speaking of salary, I am now in England, which I feel English people are lucky that the Government here sets a minimum wage of £5.53 per hour which even lowest income group can get basic living standards, feel that Malaysian government should set it as well. The wages paid will not be the government's money anyway, it will be the employer's. Easier said than that actually. Lazy to explain my concept anyway.

Now worrying about my family. Very worried. really. I can't even save myself now, how am I going to subsidise my family's extra expenses for fuel price hike.

Will Malaysia be like Indonesia soon....? I wonder.... The inflation by this time's fuel price hike will be unbelievable, especially for people who lives in low wage area which salary doesn't move up at all. A plate of noodles will be RM5 to RM6 in my hometown soon. People's pay will still be Rm1000 a month since many many years ago. business are going to close down, unemployed people caused by closures of non-profitable business, no money to buy food, food business has no profit, and turning around again, if you know what I mean. People who doesn't have food will start to protest, and everything will be in chaos.

God bless Malaysian people. It is depressing. Extremely.

Sam & Amanda

I had been watching Big Brother 8 for 2 weeks now, and it's nearly the end of this season. Among all the house mates, the twins Sam & Amanda are the most appealing among all.

The twins are from Newcastle-under-Lyme, 18 years old and studying social work in Manchester Metropolitan University. They call themselves "Twincredible". Bubbly is the perfect word to describe them. Never seen them argue with anyone, cheering everyone up... The house would never be as lively if they are not around. Just love to see them. People say they are the nation's most favourite twins!!

I just watched Big Brother on TV just now, and continue watching Big Brother Big Mouth (BBBM) after that. This is my first time really ever sitting down watching Big Brother!!

Well, that doesn't matter now as it's not about Big Brother. It's just when I start watching BBBM, I realized the host.. Emma Griffiths... OH MY GOODNESS!!! She is SO Gorgeous!!! Her eyes are so gorgeous... damn it...

So what do I like about her? Once again, EYES. That is the first impression for me when I first seen a girl. Eyes attract my attention. Click the first photo for enlargement so you can see her eyes. Love her eye colours...

How Thai Policemen Get Punished?

Police chiefs in Bangkok came up with this non-traditional way of punishment for the policemen's minor offences. How?

By wearing a Pink Hello Kitty armband with hearts on it!! How girly is that...?!!??!??! How cute are the police chiefs?!!?? Are they crazy Hello Kitty fans?

"Guilty officers will be made to wear the armbands in the office for a few days, with instructions not to disclose their offences. Let people guess what they have done."

But I guess it won't harm those male policemen who are Hello Kitty fans...

Those police chiefs really have come to a desperate position to make the subordinates suffer mentally if they break the rules, or they are just too crazy about Hello Kitty and would love to see them around the station.

Is it gonna be a good movie?? From the lyrics of the song and the movie trailer, I think it's quite a sad ending. Something like Initial D. The secret which can't be told by the girl? maybe some disease or sickness again? or is it something different from other film? Well, can only tell after watching....

Bleach

Bleach? Anyone out there watching Bleach as well? It's not the bleach which use to remove or lighten colour of clothes, it's the japanese manga named Bleach.
I never wanna start watching though, dunno what's the reason, just don't feel like watching, but recently on spare time, I really have nothing to do, so I decided to start watching. Alvin said that before we move out this Saturday, 23/6, we need to rush till the latest episode which is episode 130 which will be released this coming Thursday. So this few days, other than usual routine and looking for jobs, both Alvin and I were chasing after Bleach, episode by episode. still around half to go... hehe...

The characters I like. For female characters, I like Kuchiki Rukia.
She's one strong lady but has soft emotions of a lady. Till now I feel some chemical reactions between Rukia and Ichigo, but have to wait and see... she has really bad drawing skills like a kid.. sigh~~

As for male characters, I think Zaraki Kenpachi is hell cool!
Looks like a bad guy? well, he's the 11th squad captain in Soul Society who killed previous captain to get his position now. He got super high reiatsu, or spirit force that he didn't even need to expand his soul slayer (sword) to fight. He didn't even know the name of his soul slayer.

Well, the story still has many more characters though. Watch it to know more. After finishing blogging about this, have something to eat, then continue watch.. LOL~~~

Reflect

Recently, I had been thinking about myself. Do I piss off anyone beside me? Do i keep joking about anyone's weakness in anything? like appearance, behaviour or anything else? I'm trying not to do this anymore. If I really did it unintentionally, I'm very sorry about it. I was thinking of how people beside me judge me. Maybe you can say don't take others' judgments and be yourself, but ones saying will affect another's confidence, maybe in some ways, or even directly. Those who keep joke about other's appearance and behaviour, have they think of how good are their own appearance and behaviour? For me, I thought of myself. That's why I start to not judge and joke about others' weaknesses and shorts, especially in front of many people. Maybe we can think that telling them is for their own good, yes I agree, but have to be in a right way. Nobody likes to be pin-pointed on their weaknesses in front of others even though it's the truth.

The feeling of being "stabbed" by others in front of others about their weaknesses is not nice. Maybe some can take it like a joke but some might not.

Think about it, how many times have you hurt someone's feelings beside you on their behaviour, appearance or anything else? I'm reflecting myself as well....

Well, the new song I post now is Alone by Avril Lavigne in the new album "The Best Damn Thing"which was released only around a week ago. Alone is the bonus track in the Japanese album which features Travis Barker on drums. I like Avril Lavigne and I like Travis Barker on drums as well... I like the music of this song a lot and the lyrics are meaningful as well, so this makes it a perfect song... LOL... By the way, maybe someone can dedicate this song to someone else... if you know who you are...

Still got lots of time?

Yesterday morning I went to church as usual, but only with my blockmate Deborah. It's a quite meaningful meeting as we sang an african hymn song and we had a guest speaker coming. After church when going back, I chat with Deborah (Debby).

We chatted about trip to Amsterdam which will be happening next month. I told Debby that I don't have enough money so I won't be going as I'm depending on my family for financial support and I don't wanna waste parents' money to go for holiday. Then Debby told me that if it's her, she won't have any problems like that as her dad told her that if she wanna go visit anywhere, just go before it's too late, before she finish study... thoughtful. I tell Debby that I 10,000,000% agree what her dad told her, and told her that my parents are thinking the opposite way that I'll still have tonnes of time to go for holiday after I finish study and start work.

Debby's dad said that, a person with role as a father who said that. I can only agree because that's what I'm thinking always. My parents told me that I'll have tonnes of time going for holiday after I graduate and I'll be earning enough money to go play. But the fact is, LIFE GOES ON!

What does that mean? After I graduate, I'll start working, working means tonnes of overtime, my time will be occupied by job, and living needs, as I'll be living by myself. I'll have to pay everything by myself, pay debts, pay this and that. It's all about paying, and I'll only left some money left to be saved as emergency usage. Timewise, I'll spend it overtime, work, church, cook, laundry, maybe study part-time, grocery, etc. We won't know what will happen in our daily lives. After all this, do we still have time to go for holiday? maybe.. if only we're not organising a family. Again, LIFE GOES ON!

If it's going on normally, we'll be having girlfriend or boyfriend and be together several years, in that several years, we have to spend some money on them. of course! so.. money spend on them... after several years.. the 4 words "would u marry me" will appear (if guy). so, all savings spent again to get married, then go HONEYMOON, A HOLIDAY!! so.. savings start from the beginning again. WE STILL HAVE TO WORK! got a family now. assume that we plan and do everything we should to prevent pregnancy and did it, for the first few years of marriage, we don't have to spend money on children. BUT! we still have to pay for utilities, car loans, car expenses, housing loans, food, everything... then if both work, we can manage it together, then save some money for holiday, maybe by earning extra by overtime, but tax still kills. again but, of course a family is incomplete without children right?

Before baby born, money is spent again on wife to check this and that and do all procedures needed. money needed. after 9 months, baby born. TIME! MONEY! all spend on kids... as they grow up, we as parents have to pay for the best for our kids for everything right? so, no extra to go holiday again. no time to go holiday as LIFE STILL GOES ON! work, overtime, fetch kids, kids go school, boss don't allow leave... LIFE! at that time, maybe its around 40 years old already. We still have to save for children's further education which is not cheap! if got more than 1 child, then finish lo! hehe... we have to work for that money! no time to go holiday!

After children finish education, 55 years old. children's life will continue like us if we don't give them a chance to go for vacation on their own. 55 years old, are u gonna try something that will make ur heart jump out from ur body during your holiday? i bet u don't want unless ur body is still 25 yrs old condition... Can you fly here and there like when u're young? I don't think so. Do you still have money to go vacation after using all for your children's education? not sure. Feelings of vacation at 55 yrs old and 25 yrs old, will it be same? are u gonna go vacation with friends at 55 yrs old? or u rather go with your family? everyone will only be teenagers once in their life. Time flies.... u'll plan to go for holiday next year but next year will never come.

Anyway, this is all just assuming that we have a normal salary life unless we got high salary jobs with not using most of our time working overtime or overseas. how u gonna get that? working for ur dad? so, all teens out there, especially those who're studying overseas with limited financial support, go get urself a part time job and go vacation before ur study life ends and u'll regret for not going vacation with ur friends when u start working. Unless u're those who only knows study, eat and sleep. For those who can afford to use their parents money to go vacation, I got no comment.

James Bond - Casino Royale

Casino Royale, another Ian Fleming's James Bond story. It was shown on screen for quite some time already but tonight I get to watch it. Am I looking forward to watching this movie when it just shown? well, a bit. That's why tonight I join my friends to watch it, with hopes of that this film will be exciting and action packed, and of course, the Aston Martin's action!!

So, the movie started. Monochrome starting of the movie with Bond and an old guy chatting and reflecting something, with some actions, then Bond killed that guy. Intro music, quite long but not a bad song.. then action packed starting of the movie.. not bad, classic James Bond film. After that, the movie is rubbish.... disappointing.... The flow of the whole movie seems to be fragmented, not really continuing nicely. It has less actions if compare to previous ones.

About the cast of this movie. Daniel Craig starring as James Bond. Eva Green as the 'Bond Girl' Vesper Lynd. Well, Cathy, Alison, Jacquelyn all said Bond is so old with hell lots of wrinkles, big belly, no 8 packs, Bond girl looks lousy in make-ups... hehe... well, for me, I just think Daniel Craig is far more old and ugly if compare to Pierce Brosnan.


As for actions, hell yeah.. not enough actions at all! Even the Aston Martin DBS has no actions then it turned turtle and finish off just like that. I was looking forward to the pursuit when Bond ignite the roaring powerful V10 engine of the DBS! then that gorgeous sexy sports car just crashed in not more than 30 seconds, without any typical James Bond movie functions in the car, apparently just the machine to use to resume heart beat (well, dunno what's that machine call, only know it is to resume heart beat) when Bond was poisoned. Maybe it is done so the producers can save costs.. as those additional fittings in that Aston Martin will add up cost then profit will be lost. duh...

Another part is about Bond gambling, of course in Casino Royale it should have gambling scene. It really shows Bond's ego.. hmm.. losing millions before the last round.. apparently, he has to win the last round so it's called a movie, and so the movie can continue. When Bond got captured by the bad guy - Le Chiffre, after his Aston Martin turn turtle, he was tortured by hitting his balls with a steel ball ended rope... what the.. but after he was being rescued, he still can sex with Vesper Lynd. Even on the sex part, the scene is not as attractive as before.

I think this movie is more on the relationship of Bond and Lynd after half of the show. Vesper Lynd only appeared on the second half of the show. Then after that the movie is loaded with crap conversations between those 2. hey! we want Bond actions not crap conversations which is not relevant k? cutting down movie length can save costs as well...

And the bad guy, Le Chiffre, has Asthma. Then what's that for? entertaining seeing him suck that can of thing? Nothing to do with the movie at all, I thought Bond gonna use his asthma to kill him.. but was killed by other ppl with a gun... sigh~~ And his left eye, what happened? got a scar on the eye, and he keep rubbing his left eye, where did that come from? What's to do with the movie? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! WHAT THE CRAP?!?!??!!?

the ENDING part.. interesting huh.. the money finally got by that dunno who the hell stupid old jerk.. then get shot on the leg and Bond appear with an MP5 Navy machine gun.. "THE NAME IS BOND, JAMES BOND" (this classic intro of Bond only appear once in this movie, with crap ending) then end of movie.

?? what?? end of movie?? Oh my goodness... but still, I dunno who the crap are those ppl, but look at this comments on the movie official page... ROFLMAO...

disappointing Bond movie... no pursuits, few actions, loads of crap, unrelated stuff, not so handsome actors, boring... making up 2 and half hours with mostly crappy stuff inside... duh....

The Fray - How to Save a Life

The Fray? I never heard their name before.. until recently when I found out about them in Jade's Blog. She used it as background music which I feel it's a very nice song. Well, she changed to other song after a while. I thought I might share with you guys out there who likes music.


The Fray, members are Isaac (vocal and piano), Joe (guitar and vocal), Ben and David. 'How to Save a Life' is a meaningful song which touched many people's hearts as you search for comments in video hosts websites such as YouTube. They even made videos remembering their lost friend. Here is a description about the song which I get from the official website of The Fray.

The title track, "How To Save A Life," was inspired by Slade's experience as a mentor to a crack addicted teen. "I was a sheltered suburban kid when I met this guy. He was a recovering addict, coming out of a really tough teenage life. Thankfully, he was on his way out of that life, so he was able to really look back with some objectivity. The song is more of a memoir about his slow motion descent and all the relationships he lost along the way." Destined to be one of the band's greatest hits, Slade isn't worried about getting tired of performing the song: "It is the easiest one for me to sing every night. I constantly get emails from people who relate to it."

The song has resonated with fans in some truly moving ways, which is humbling to the author: "Some people actually formed a non-profit organization called Save A Life. After whole evening clicking and exploring some information for my dissertation on kennysia.com I ended up reading his old posts. He's a real hilarious and funny guy. Take a look at his blog if you have time. The way he describe something, and the way he put photos and describing it let me enjoyed reading it.

One part of his blog that I enjoyed just now, thought that I might share with you people. Some of you might already seen it but some of you might not. The post is in the 'ENGRISH' section. (Click Here) It's really sad seeing something like that but yet it's really funny.. I laughed non-stop for a while after looking at the final few menus there. It's quite pathethic and yet they are going to host Olympics games next year! Wonder how the english speaking athletes are going to stay there without laughing to death if this situation continues like that. Most ENGRISH situation happens in Asian country.. You can find interesting ENGRISH stuff here. This site even offers you ways to make your own ENGRISH!!

Well, maybe I can start planning to stop studying accounting and start studying english.. Gonna make big money out of it!
